Chicago — Architecture, Lake, and a City with Real Soul

Chicago might be the easiest city in the world to fall in love with if you care even a little bit about architecture. Walking along the Lakefront, looking up at the layered skyline, watching the light bounce off the Bean — there is a reason this place keeps pulling artists and photographers back. For me, it is the combination of scale and warmth: big city, Midwestern heart.

The collection I have built for Chicago tries to honour that balance. You will see the skyline take centre stage in most pieces — the Willis Tower, the Trump International, the Hancock, the bridges across the river — but there is always something grounding it, whether that is the calm of Lake Michigan or the rhythm of the CTA. Chicago earns its nickname of the “Second City” on paper, but visually, on the right wall, it never takes second place.

You will find Chicago in every format I produce. There are vertical and horizontal Chicago skyline prints in all my signature colour schemes, from soft pastels to bold watercolours. The 3-piece Chicago wall art sets are one of my most popular formats for larger walls — the triptych layout feels especially right for a city this long along the lakefront. You can also explore retro Chicago posters with vintage travel character, or the newer city map with skyline designs that combine street-level detail with the skyline above. Chicago pieces go to a really wide mix of people. Lifelong Chicagoans, of course, and plenty of former residents who have moved away and want the skyline back on their wall.
