About the Inspiration (Cleveland Edition):

Cleveland — Lake Erie, Rock and Roll, and a Skyline With Layers

Cleveland might be the most underrated skyline in America. You stand on the lakefront and you have I. M. Pei’s glass pyramid of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in front of you, the 1930 Art Deco Terminal Tower further back, Key Tower (the tallest in Ohio) anchoring the centre, and Lake Erie behind it all. For me, the magic of Cleveland is how much story is packed into one frame: the city that gave the world rock and roll, the Cleveland Clinic, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the largest performing arts centre in the United States outside New York.

The collection I have built for Cleveland tries to honour that depth. You will see the skyline take centre stage in most pieces — the Rock Hall, Key Tower, Terminal Tower, and 200 Public Square — but there is always something grounding it, whether that is the curve of the Cuyahoga River through the Flats or Lake Erie meeting the city’s northern edge. Cleveland sometimes gets called “the mistake on the lake” by people who have never been; on the right wall, that nickname stops sounding like a joke very quickly.

You will find Cleveland in every format I produce. There are vertical and horizontal Cleveland skyline prints in all my signature colour schemes, from soft pastels to bold watercolours. The 3-piece Cleveland wall art sets are one of my most popular formats for larger walls — the triptych layout suits a skyline this stretched along the lakefront. You can also explore retro Cleveland posters with vintage travel character, or the newer city map with skyline designs that combine street-level detail with the towers above. For gifts, the hand-drawn Cleveland cityscapes tend to catch a lot of eyes.

Cleveland pieces go to a really wide mix of people. Lifelong Clevelanders, of course, and plenty of former residents who have moved away and want the skyline back on their wall. Case Western and CSU alumni are another big group — the city has such a strong student-to-forever-memory pipeline. And it is a favourite for Browns, Cavaliers, and Guardians fans, for couples marking a wedding or engagement at Edgewater Park or on the Detroit-Superior Bridge, and for anyone who calls Tremont, Ohio City, or Lakewood home. As with every piece in the shop, sizes, materials, and colour schemes are all fully customisable, and I will send a digital proof before anything is printed.

If you cannot find Cleveland in the exact style you are picturing, message me and we can design it together — at no extra cost. Made with tons of care, and I hope you find a piece that feels like home.
